A facelift is an operation designed to raise the skin and deep tissues of the face in order to restore the youthful lines of the face and neck. It is adapted to your needs and anatomy. In general, it involves incisions in front of the ear which extend from the scalp in the temple area, around the bottom of the ear, and occasionally behind the ear to the scalp. The scars are usually well hidden and may be concealed with your hair if necessary. The neck may be addressed during the operation to minimize sagging tissue and restore a smooth and graceful contour. Facelift operations may be performed under local or general anaesthesia.
