A MicroLaserPeel is essentially a deep microdermabrasion. While a traditional microdermabrasion is an excellent option to improve the tint and clarity of your skin, it removes only 3 microns of the superficial sun-damaged tissue. Using our advanced Sciton laser technology, a MicroLaserPeel may remove up to 50 microns of tissue. With it, we can treat deeper imperfections and improve the overall texture of your skin. This treatment acts only in the superficial level of the skin (epidermis) and therefore has a quick healing time. It is normal to have some redness similar to that of a sunburn. It generally takes 3-4 days to settle. If you required a deeper treatment, the healing time will be longer.
We can tailor the laser treatment to your skin by combining a MicroLaserPeel with a Profractional XC and/or BBL to maximize the final result. It all depends on the result and recovery time you are looking for.
